Why this site exists
Casual dating sites are easy to join and, too often, hard to leave. The common complaints are always the same: a cheap trial that turns into a monthly bill, a cancellation button that's hard to find, and terms nobody reads. So we built the guide we wanted: what a site costs after the trial, how to cancel it step by step, and where to meet safely once you've matched.
Why the byline says “editorial team”
Pages are signed “The Fling Compass editorial team”. That is a collective name for the people who research, write and check the site. We could have invented a friendly dating expert with a photo, as many sites do. We didn't, because that would be the first lie on a site whose whole point is not lying to you.
