How to cancel a dating subscription
A cheap trial that quietly renews is the most common complaint about dating sites. Pick the site, follow the steps, keep the proof.

- Cancel AdultFriendFinderAdultFriendFinder renews paid subscriptions automatically on the day they expire. Its terms say to stop this you go to the Billing History & Credit Card Info page and turn auto-renewal off. The help area sits behind a login, so we could not confirm the exact menu path to that page.Checked 16 October 2026
- Cancel BeNaughtyBeNaughty uses automatic renewal, and a 3-day trial converts to a monthly plan when it ends. Its billing policy says you can cancel the automatic payment at any time before the recurring payment date on the 'My Settings' page. Your access continues until the end of the period already paid.Checked 16 October 2026
- Cancel C-DateC-Date's own App Store listing says you can switch off auto-renewal from your Account Settings after purchase, and that it must be off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. C-Date's UK help pages blocked our automated checks, so we could not confirm the exact menu labels on the website.Checked 16 October 2026
- Cancel Ashley MadisonAshley Madison's help centre blocked our automated checks, so we could not confirm its exact menu labels. The safe route: stop any automatic payment from your account's billing or membership area on the website, or in Apple or Google subscriptions if you paid in the app, then check for 'AMDA' on your next statement.Checked 16 October 2026
- Cancel Victoria MilanVictoria Milan's terms say you can cancel online in the settings of your profile, via your 'My membership' details page. The catch is timing: notice must arrive 14 days before the end of a 1 or 3 month plan, and 28 days before the end of a 6 or 12 month plan, or the next period can be charged.Checked 16 October 2026
- Cancel Illicit EncountersSome Illicit Encounters products renew automatically when they expire. The help pages say you contact them to cancel auto-renewal up to 48 hours before your membership is due to expire. The terms say you end the agreement by emailing support@illicitencounters.com.Checked 16 October 2026
- Cancel SDCSDC's terms say recurring billing is switched on by default and it is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel a paid subscription at any time by accessing Account information on the site. No refund is given for prepaid time.Checked 16 October 2026
- Cancel FeeldFeeld's help centre says all Majestic memberships must be cancelled by the subscriber through the App Store or Google Play, and Feeld's support team cannot do it for you. It suggests cancelling at least 48 hours before the next payment. You become a free member when the current billing cycle ends.Checked 16 October 2026
- Cancel TinderHow you cancel Tinder depends on how you paid, and your order number tells you: MK means Apple, GPA means Google Play, TNDR means tinder.com or a card in the Android app. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and uninstalling the app does not cancel.Checked 16 October 2026
- Cancel SaucyDatesSaucyDates bills through different providers depending on your device, app and country, and each is cancelled differently. Recurring subscriptions renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. After you cancel, VIP access continues until the paid term ends.Checked 16 October 2026
Three rules that work for every site
- If you pay through Apple or Google Play, cancel there. Deleting the app does not stop the payments.
- Deleting your profile and stopping the renewal are not always the same thing. Do the cancellation first.
- Keep the confirmation, note the date, and check your next statement.
