How to cancel your SDC subscription
SDC's terms say recurring billing is switched on by default and it is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel a paid subscription at any time by accessing Account information on the site. No refund is given for prepaid time.

Before you start
- Find out how you pay: directly on the site, or through Apple or Google Play. The route to cancel is different.
- Note the renewal date in your account and cancel before it.
- Keep the confirmation email or a screenshot, and check your bank statement after the next cycle.
Step by step

Log in on the website
Sign in to sdc.com with the account that holds the paid plan.

Open Account information
The terms name 'Account information' as the place to cancel a paid subscription. Find the membership or billing section there. We could not see the logged-in screens to confirm further labels.

Cancel before the renewal date
Cancel the recurring payment before the next renewal date. The terms say no refund is given for overpayment caused by not cancelling in time.

Keep proof
Save the confirmation email or a dated screenshot of your cancelled plan.

Check your statement, or email the helpdesk
Check your bank statement at the next billing date. The privacy policy says you can email helpdesk@sdc.com to cancel your account; use it if anything goes wrong.
Paid through Apple or Google?
If you subscribed through the SDC iPhone app, cancel in Settings, your name, Subscriptions. For Android purchases, cancel in Google Play subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

If it still charges you
Contact SDC's support with your confirmation and the date you cancelled. If you paid by card and can't get a response, talk to your bank about the payment. If you subscribed through Apple or Google, ask them for help from your purchase history.
