How to cancel your Tinder Gold, Plus or Platinum subscription
How you cancel Tinder depends on how you paid, and your order number tells you: MK means Apple, GPA means Google Play, TNDR means tinder.com or a card in the Android app. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and uninstalling the app does not cancel.

Before you start
- Find out how you pay: directly on the site, or through Apple or Google Play. The route to cancel is different.
- Note the renewal date in your account and cancel before it.
- Keep the confirmation email or a screenshot, and check your bank statement after the next cycle.
Step by step

Find your order number
Check your receipt. MK means Apple billing, GPA means Google Play billing, and TNDR means you paid on tinder.com or by card in the Android app.

MK (Apple): cancel on your iPhone
Open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select Tinder and tap Cancel subscription.

GPA (Google Play): cancel in Google Play
Open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select Tinder and tap Cancel subscription.

TNDR (web or card): cancel in Tinder
Log in at tinder.com (or open the Android app if you paid by card or PayPal there), tap your profile icon, choose Manage payment account, find the subscription and tap Cancel subscription.

Keep proof and check your statement
Keep the cancellation confirmation and check your next statement. If you switched phones, cancel on the old platform too: Tinder says subscriptions don't transfer between iOS and Android.
Paid through Apple or Google?
If your order number starts with MK you are billed by Apple, and with GPA by Google Play: cancel in Apple ID subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

Deleting your profile vs stopping payments
Tinder's help centre says deleting your account won't cancel an active subscription, and uninstalling the app doesn't delete your account either. Cancel the subscription first, then delete the account in Settings, Delete account.
If it still charges you
Contact Tinder's support with your confirmation and the date you cancelled. If you paid by card and can't get a response, talk to your bank about the payment. If you subscribed through Apple or Google, ask them for help from your purchase history.
