Our take

C-Date is a casual dating site and app aimed at adults who know what they are looking for. Registration is free, and the full feature set needs a Premium Membership. C-Date's own App Store listing describes Premium packages of 3, 6 and 12 months.

That listing quotes euro prices that it says may vary outside Germany, so it is not a reliable guide to what a UK member pays. C-Date's UK website blocked our automated checks, so we could not read its terms or help pages directly, and we have not named an operating company here.

What the listing does make clear is how renewal works for app purchases: the subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you cannot cancel the current period once it has started.

Good for

  • Adults looking for casual dating who are happy with a longer upfront commitment
  • People who prefer a dedicated app over a general-purpose dating app

Avoid if…

  • You want a month-to-month plan: the listed packages start at 3 months
  • You want to read the full terms before joining and can't access their site
  • You want UK prices in pounds before you sign up

Pros

  • Official iOS app available in the UK App Store
  • Renewal rules for app purchases are stated plainly in the App Store listing
  • Free to register and look around before paying

Cons

  • Plans listed start at 3 months, which is a bigger upfront commitment
  • No UK pound prices we could verify on a public page
  • The current period cannot be cancelled once it has started, per the App Store listing

What C-Date costs

Check the current price on their site. C-Date doesn't show a full price list on a public page we could read, or prices depend on your age, location or the offer of the day. We don't copy prices from other websites.

C-Date's App Store listing quotes euro prices for Germany and says they may vary elsewhere, and its UK site blocked our checks. Check the current price on their site before paying.

Once you have their prices, work out a trial with our true-cost calculator.

Leaving C-Date

C-Date's own App Store listing says you can switch off auto-renewal from your Account Settings after purchase, and that it must be off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. C-Date's UK help pages blocked our automated checks, so we could not confirm the exact menu labels on the website.

C-Date: questions people ask

Does deleting the C-Date app cancel my membership?

No. Removing the app does not stop billing. Switch off auto-renewal in your account settings, or in Apple or Google subscriptions if you paid through a store.

Can I cancel C-Date in the middle of a plan?

C-Date's App Store listing says the current subscription cannot be cancelled during the active period. Switching off auto-renewal stops the next charge, and access runs until the period you paid for ends.

Can I get a refund from C-Date?

We could not read C-Date's terms on refunds. Check their terms on the site and contact service@c-date.com. If you paid through Apple or Google, refund requests go to the store.
